GDPR – PRIVACY PRACTICES

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective from May 25, 2018, sets out the principles to be adhered to when collecting, processing, and storing personal data. It also guarantees rights for the individuals concerned.

Several forms are present on the site www.sso-friendly.com to collect visitor data:

1: Objectives

The collection of data on the site www.sso-friendly.com aims to create a file for managing the prospects and clients of SSO-Friendly. This file is used for statistical purposes, to contact and/or offer relevant content to contacts.

2: Data Relevance

To better follow the interests of SSO-Friendly’s prospects and clients, the file collects all information from visitors to the SSO-Friendly’s sites related to identity, professional information, and activities on the SSO-Friendly’s sites. In accordance with data protection laws, information relating to racial or ethnic origins, political, philosophical or religious opinions, trade union membership, health, or a person’s sexual life is not collected and is prohibited (sensitive data).

3: Lawfulness of Processing and Conditions for Consent (Art.6 and Art.7 of GDPR)

Consent for the processing of a visitor’s personal data is systematically obtained for one or more specific purposes. For example, when filling out a subscription form to the newsletter or downloading a resource, the visitor’s email address is obtained to notify them of new publications or offer resources that may interest them.

4: Data Retention

Data collected on SSO-Friendly sites is kept for a maximum of 12 months for anonymous contacts after the last activity on the website by the person. For identified contacts, the data collected on the site www.sso-friendly.com is kept for a maximum of 36 months. After these periods, all data relating to the person is automatically deleted.

5: Rights of Individuals (Art.16 to 20 of GDPR)

In accordance with data protection laws and the GDPR, everyone can exercise their right of access, rectification, opposition, limitation of processing, deletion, and portability of data concerning them by making a request via a signed letter accompanied by a copy of an identity document to the address of SSO-Friendly’s headquarters, or by filling out the form available at this address: www.sso-friendly.com/personal-data/

The file manager will respond no later than one month following the request for access or rectification.

6: Data Security and Processing (Art. 32 of GDPR)

Data collected on the site www.sso-friendly.com and the associated processing are hosted by SSO-Friendly. Only individuals related to the technical, marketing, and commercial services of SSO-Friendly and its subcontractors have access to the information collected on SSO-Friendly group sites, via a personal and unique identifier.

7: Data Breach and Notification within 72 hours (Art. 33 and Art. 34 of GDPR)

In case of a violation or suspicion of violation of personal data, SSO-Friendly and its subcontractors will notify the CNIL, at the latest, 72 hours after becoming aware of it.

PERSONAL DATA

To provide the best possible experience, high-quality informational content, access to specific information such as resources and tutorials, and a private area, the visitor to the site may be required to fill out forms or log in via a username and password. The information collected is then subject to computer processing necessary for the provision of the service. The recipients of the data are exclusively people working for the SSO-Friendly.

In accordance with the “Data Protection Act” of January 6, 1978, amended in 2004, you have the right to access and rectify information concerning you, which you can exercise by contacting our support service at dpo@sso-friendly.com. You can also, for legitimate reasons, oppose the processing of data concerning you.

ABOUT COOKIES
