Who is behind the sso-friendly.com website ?

Why did we start this initiative?

You all might know the famous listing sites https://sso.tax & https://ssotax.org that shows which vendors treat single sign-on as a luxury feature, not a core security requirement.

We love this website, but it does not tell us which vendors are SSO-friendly for companies that want to enhance their security without overspending on their resources. This is the purpose of our SSO Wall of Fame.

We believe that Single Sign-On (SSO) should be a standard feature available to all businesses, regardless of size. We are dedicated to promoting vendors who understand that SSO is not a luxury, but a fundamental security requirement. We will also list vendors that offer account federation (SCIM) features in all their paid plans.

Our mission is to highlight and promote vendors that include SSO with all subscription levels or offer such features as a security option for a reasonable additional cost (what about $2 / user / month?) and to help companies and IT teams to ease their work when searching for solutions.

We decided to launch this website because we are frequently asked about which apps are SSO-friendly.

The Bravas.io team is behind this initiative. As Bravas serves as both a Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Identity Provider (IDP) for companies with 1 to 500 employees, we often encounter the challenges of the SSO tax faced by our customers.

Our goal is to help bypass this issue, and maybe eliminate it with the help of the community 🙂

Therefore, we thought of building a community website to gather and share information on SSO-friendly apps.
